Buying
bicycle in India is easy and undaunting with plethora of available options,
both online as well as offline. Brands create cycles in variety of categories -
from sports cycles, to luxury, cycle for women and kids, to cycles for daily
commute and much more. This variety gives them an option to look at cycles
specific to their needs and at the same time choose from a wide range of
options.
There are
many companies that offer quality bicycles starting from a low price range to
high ends bicycles. While cost can be one parameter, there are a few other
points that need consideration. Here is a list that you can keep handy and
refer to while buying a cycle.
Purpose -
Daily commuting in city, General workout, long rides (50+ km), travelling
uphill etc.
1. Define
the purpose–Knowing what to buy depends on what you need this cycle for. A
daily commute cycle needs to be comfortable and should be meant to be used on
roads and long commute, whereas a mountain
bike should be sturdy and lightweight.
For
example – if you need cycle to go to your office nearby or need it for keeping
yourself healthy, then go for a hybrid type cycle cause it is lightweight like
a road bike and at the same time looks wonderful like an MTB.
2.
Define
the budget – Other than the cycle you will also need to buy some essential
accessories too - helmet, air pump, reflectors etc. To plan for all of this it
is important to define a budget and then allocateit for each item you need to
buy thus reaching the actual amount that you can spend on the cycle.
3.
Purchase
channel –You have benefits at both levels, be it offline or online. If you are purchasing
online then you will for sure get it at a lower cost and will be able to
explore more options online but while purchasing online keep in mind that when
it is delivered a your doorstep you won’t get any assistance in assembling the
cycle which is done by the shop assistant during an offline purchase. Also
during an online purchase you can just view the image and trust what is written
is right. It says ‘lightweight’ but are you comfortable with that ‘lightweight’
can only be judged when you hold the cycle. So overall if you are a beginner
online isn’t the right channel for purchase. Go to a store, check everything in
person and then purchase.Online is for someone who knows
exactly what he wants to buy, knows what to look for in descriptions and
product details, and knows how to assemble a cycle himself.
When
purchasing offline or online it is a good idea to be accompanied by someone who
has the knowledge about buying cycle in India. It is good to have another
opinion rather to be in doubt. Buying cycle in India is easy, you just need to
know what to buy, where to buy, and keep the budget in mind.

ReplyDeleteAuto dealer stickers are used by every dealership in showing that a particular car or auto was sold by that particular car dealership. It also serves as a form of subtle, but effective advertising for the business. Usually small and rectangular or oval-shaped, they are discreet but informative bits of information. They are an understatement - and meant to speak quietly but carry a lot of weight. bicycle sticker
